Our client, a family operated mixed crop property is seeking a Spray Operator to commence late May 2024. Fantastically located 30kms out of Bremer Bay, WA close to some of the most beautiful beached in the world as well as range of facilities. Experience required in Boom Sprayers and Spreaders, mechanically minded and able to assist with livestock, the client is offering on-site accommodation with aircon and a pool, a work ute and a great hourly rate.

• 3000ha Mixed cropping enterprise, 2800ha cropping canola, barley & wheat with 1800 ewes;
• Location of farm – 30kms from Bremer Bay, WA;
• Nearest town and what facilities are available - Groceries, Primary School, Beaches, Post Office;

About the Role:

• Start date: Late May 2024;
• Machine Operation including Boomspray & Spreader;
• Occasionally assist with livestock work (sheep);
• General farm maintenance & upkeep (eg. fencing), machinery upkeep & servicing;
• Machinery - Case iH Magnum , Case iH Magnum , Case iH 9240, Case iH 8120, Coolamon 36T Chaser Bin, Case iH Patriot 2024 Model, Case iH Patriot 2024 Model;
• Size of team - 4

About you:

• Must be experienced with operating broadacre machinery including boom spray;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Honest and reliable - knows when to report issues with gear etc;
• Smokers ok;
• Manual License - truck preferred;
• Mechanically minded;
• Experience in handling chemicals desired.

What's on offer:

• Great hourly rate of $35+ on offer, depending on experience;
• 45 hours a week, reasonable overtime during harvest & seeding;
• Accommodation provided - on farm donga (including utilities, fenced with air con – suitable for couple's or single's, alternatively a 2 bedroom house on the farm fenced, with air con, renovated new bathroom and kitchen;
• Work vehicle & running costs;
• Good - Mobile Booster on Worker Accommodation.
