- Organize and supervise inspection and maintenance activities for machinery and plant equipment.
- Ensure that designs and finished work meet specifications, regulations, and contract provisions.
- Maintain personal fitness and adhere to drug, alcohol, and fatigue policies.
- Prioritize safety for oneself, colleagues, visitors, and the public.
- Follow instructions and use correct manual handling techniques.
- Wear, use, and maintain personal protective equipment.
- Communicate effectively with all personnel.
- Comply with site safety requirements and report hazards promptly.
- Complete safety documentation daily.
- Report all injuries and illnesses promptly.
- Participate in meetings, inspections, and training activities.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.

- Minimum 3 years post apprentice work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Australian Recognised Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker or equivalent
- Site specific (e.g. confined space, working at heights) as required
- First aid certificate
- Current Driving Licence
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
