Pacific Seeds is Australia's leading broadacre seed company.

We breed, produce and market leading summer and winter crop seeds and have partnered with farmers around Australia for over 60 years.

We are focused on conducting research and developing new products and technologies which ultimately improve grower profitability.
We are now seeking a person for this key role in our business.

If you have experience or education in Agriculture, seed testing qualifications (or willingness to obtain) and want to work in a great team with a career path, then this may be the job for you.

You may be experienced in a laboratory and/or have a science background or leaving school where you have focused on Agriculture and looking for an exciting career in a team which is pivotal to the quality of our products.

Key accountabilities are as follows:
Quality testing of seed samples;
Germination of the seeds and testing in accordance with ISTA/Pacific Seed quality procedures;
Maintaining laboratory conditions including temperature control and recording equipment;
Coordination of quarantine seed sample testing and disposal and maintenance of pest and rodent documentation;
Prepare and carry out seed technology experiments; and
Coordinate grading and processing of the seed.
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following:
Have a science, laboratory or an agricultural background and are interested in analysing seed;
Hold a current 'C' class drivers licence;
Have excellent attention to detail;
Strong time management and organisational skills; and
Want to work for an organization which supports your career and invests in its people.
