The Role

Our Salisbury site in Adelaide's northern suburbs manufactures a range of more than 78 milk and milk-based products. This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good, and it distributes predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who is confident in their abilities to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in our Packaging and Blow Moulding area. Our fast-paced environment requires someone who can provide daily repair and maintenance support with a continuous improvement mindset.

Reporting to the Reliability Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our plant's safety, quality and productivity. Your flexibility to work on a rotational roster, including day, afternoon, and night shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays, will be essential to your success. Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Asset care strategy for site Food and Beverage manufacturing/process/packaging equipment
• Ensure standards and quality of work are carried in line with safe engineering work practices and food safety requirements
• Timely breakdown rectification and execution of planned maintenance tasks
• Understand benchmarking and implement plans for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Making safety a priority & supporting a safety-first culture

About you

• Relevant Mechanical/Electrical /Dual Trade Certificate is essential
• Experience in the beverage or food manufacturing industry
• Sound knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving techniques
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• A safety-first mindset
