We are committed to maintaining a high-performing safety-focused environment and seek individuals who actively contribute to this culture What s On Offer Safety First- At Ventia we believe that every job should be done right and that everyone should go home safely at the end of each day This full-time Spatial Systems Architect role is responsible for leading the strategic use of GIS and spatial data across Defence You ll manage a team of analysts drive innovation ensure spatial systems support estate planning asset management compliance This role is key to enhancing spatial intelligence aligning GIS platforms with operational needs Key Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To) Safety Health Environment & Quality SHEQ Ensure GIS data supports SHEQ compliance including environmental overlays hazard mapping risk assessments Integrate spatial data into SHEQ reporting planning tools enhance visibility decision-making Operatiional Excellence Develop implement strategic GIS roadmap aligned with Defence estate priorities data requirements asset management frameworks Lead integration GI platforms maintenance planning systems e.g ESRI SAP Team Development Culture Lead mentor team GI analysts technical specialists fostering culture innovation collaboration Conduct skills assessments develop targeted training plans build strategic GI capability Customer Engagement Develop stakeholder engagement strategies promote GI adoption value across Defenve users Provide spacial data visualisations dashboards tailored stakheolder needs About The Role A degree in Geography Geospatial Science GI Engineering related discipline Extensive experience strategiic GI leadership Proficiency GI platfroms e.g ArcGIS QGIS Strong understanding spacial data governance analytics You mentor develop spacial analysts technical specialists build high performing technically capable workforce Experience leading techincal teams delivering CI capability uplift Desirable certifications project managenent or datagovernance Eligibility Defenc security clearance Excellent stakeholder engagement communication skills Commitment safety compliance customer satisfaction Support Base teams work Team-of-Teams integrator facilitator state region Must eligible hold Defenc Security Clearance As result requirement applicant must be an Ausralian Citizen willing undertake maintain satisfactory Australian Federal Police Veturra Diversity enriched diverse experiences talents cultures people bring organisation celebrating respecting communities operate How To Apply If you looking expand career business rewards values employees please apply below clicking on apply now button Position Reference Number:
