Veterinary Nurse/ Receptionist | Lower Plenty Veterinary Clinic
We are seeking a full-time veterinary nurse with 1+ years' experience to join our team. Our roster is flexible and accommodates your availability alongside clinic requirements, and hours/rates can be negotiated for the right candidate.
Shifts are also balanced between front-of-house and back-of-house duties.
A day in the life of a Veterinary Nurse at Lower Plenty Veterinary Clinic
This is a hands-on nursing role where you will be assisting with pre-medicating patients, catheter placement, blood draws, intubation, and all the surgical preparation to enable the vet to perform surgery.
We manage all invoicing, recoveries and cleaning- allowing us to make the most of our vet's time.
We are an efficient and experienced nursing team who manage to perform multiple surgeries daily, typically between 8-14 a day.
Our surgical Vets love working with our nurses as we provide them with great support, whilst also utilizing our nursing capabilities to the highest standard.
We are looking for someone happy to be a surgical nurse but also jump into reception and nurse consultations if needed.
