About The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pallet repairer to join our team. You will be responsible for inspecting, assessing, and repairing pallets used in our operations.
Shift Time:
Rotating 3-week roster. Staff MUST be available to work ALL 3 shifts.
Morning - 6am to 2pm
Afternoon - 2pm to 10pm
Night - 10pm - 6pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
Pallet Inspection: Thoroughly inspect pallets to identify damage, wear, and structural issues. Assess the extent of damage and determine if a pallet can be repaired or needs to be replaced.
Repair and Refurbishment: Utilize various hand and power tools to repair damaged pallets. This includes tasks such as replacing broken or weakened boards, re-nailing loose components, and reinforcing weak areas to restore the pallet's structural integrity.
Quality Control: Ensure that all repaired pallets meet quality standards and are safe for use. Perform quality checks after repairs to guarantee pallets are sturdy and reliable.
Material Handling: Move, stack, and organize pallets in the designated areas. Load and unload pallets as needed, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
