About the role
Congress is establishing a therapeutic team to providecomprehensive and holistic care to young people currently in youthdetention, aimed at positively impacting the young personsexperience in detention, as well as addressing any health issues.
The position is part time (0.5 FTE) and the successful doctorwill become part of the GP community within Congress as well aspart of the team at the centre. This is an exciting opportunity tohave a positive impact on the lives on many young people.
The General Practitioner (GP) provides culturally safe GPservices within a comprehensive primary health care frameworkacross all sections of Congress' Health Services Division. Theposition works to the principles, values and philosophy of Congressas an Aboriginal community controlled health service.
