They currently operate $25bn of AUM across a diverse range of real estate sectors such as residential, office, retail, healthcare, student accommodation and hotels, across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific.

The OpportunityOn behalf of Bouwinvest, we are seeking a Portfolio Manager to spearhead a segment of their APAC real estate portfolio, with a special focus on Australian markets (sub portfolio of AUD 1bn).

This role is a cornerstone for ensuring the strategic growth and optimisation of their Australian investments, which include a varied mix of funds and joint ventures across several real estate sectors.

Your New RoleAs Bouwinvest's Portfolio Manager, you will act as the linchpin for their Australian portfolio, taking charge of managing and enhancing a diverse array of real estate investments.

Your responsibilities will include:
Strategically managing a regional sub-portfolio, emphasising quality and efficiency.
Active involvement in the identification, evaluation, and execution of new investment opportunities to enhance the portfolio's value and performance.

Serving as the primary contact for external parties, effectively representing Bouwinvest in the industry and at various forums, including Advisory Boards.

Liaising closely with internal departments such as Legal, Tax, Control, and Research to foster operational synergy.
Crafting and implementing strategic plans aligned with Bouwinvest's goals, focusing on APAC mandates.
Generating client reports marked by transparency and accountability.
Overseeing and navigating internal and external challenges with innovative solutions.
Ensuring the effective communication and management of portfolio and external meetings.
Who You AreEquipped with a Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Boasting at least 10 years of relevant experience, ready to engage at a management level and manage external relations.
An excellent communicator with strong networking, analytical, and leadership skills.
A goal-oriented individual who thrives under pressure and is capable of innovative thinking.
Experience within an LP is advantageous but not essential.
Funds Management and Portfolio Management experience will also be viewed favourably.
