    The Opportunity

    Our client is a growing, $3bn+ revenue, ASX-listed business. This is a newly created role designed to support business growth and will join a supportive and driven team based in Brisbane City. The team operates on a hybrid working model with 2-3 days WFH.

    This role is suited to a proactive and ambitious accounting professional with 4+ years of experience in audit or a relevant industry role, looking to progress their career in a top corporate.

    The Challenge

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Preparing accurate and timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders
    • Completing month end tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations and processing journal entries
    • Assisting with monthly forecasting and annual budget preparation
    • Supporting the FP&A team with analysis of actual to budget/forecast results
    • Preparing legal entity reviews, profit and loss, and balance sheet support schedules
    • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business including the ELT, cost centre managers and external auditors
    • Engaging with process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects

    The Expertise

    Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

    • You are CA / CPA qualified
    • You may be looking to make a first move out of Big 4 or a leading mid-tier firm with 3-5 years' experience. Alternatively, you may have commenced your career in industry within a leading business and are looking for a step up into a more dynamic environment within a leading, ASX business
    • Experience with budgeting & forecasting processes will be advantageous
    • It is expected you possess the interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and professionalism required to work in a top corporate environment
