    About This Role

    If you share the kind of drive that helped Spotlight grow from a family-run market stall to a successful global retailer, you will feel right at home as a Spotlight Team Leader.

    Your Day-to-Day

    • Supporting the Store Manager in effectively managing daily operations.
    • Achieving sales growth and meeting regular KPI targets for your department.
    • Building your department team to deliver exceptional customer service, modelling our inverted triangle structure.
    • Leading by example and communicating management expectations.
    • High volume stock management.
    • MERchandising in line with business expectations.
    • Launching catalogue campaigns with effective ticketing and set-ups throughout your department.
    • Assisting in recruitment, training, and development functions across your team.
    • High volume stocktakes and Stock integrity initiatives to increase profit in your department.

    What We're Looking For

    We are looking for individuals with:

    • Retail Management Experience.
    • Prior experience in high-volume or Big Box stock volume management is preferred.
    • An Owner's Mindset in leadership style.
    • A passionate attitude that inspires teams to exceed goals.
    • Experience in Development and Performance plans.
    • A resilient problem solver who is driven to success through innovation and time management.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • First Aid certification, or willingness to be trained at our expense.
