The Role

We are seeking an experienced and outcome-focused town planner to join our team due to recent growth. This is a full-time role that involves:

• Providing professional town planning advice to a diverse range of clients
• Coordinating sub-consultants and other specialists to provide holistic planning outcomes
• Attending meetings with Council, State, clients, and other consultants
• Resolving complex planning issues
• Preparing a full range of town planning correspondence
• Conducting planning research and investigations
• Assisting team members in meeting client needs as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A tertiary qualification in town planning
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• An understanding of town planning principles and methods, and the ability to apply them
• Foundational knowledge of the Queensland planning framework
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to problem-solve and exercise initiative to find solutions
• Self-motivation and resourcefulness, with the ability to work on a range of varied and challenging projects
• The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

Remuneration and Benefits

This role offers competitive remuneration and benefits commensurate with experience, ranging from $70,000 per annum to $90,000 per annum, excluding superannuation.
