    Due to a period of sustained growth, they are now seeking a mature, honest and reliable Financial Controller to lead their dynamic finance team.

    Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, accompanied by a CA/CPA qualification.
    • Proven hands-on approach with a willingness to dive into tasks and lead by example.
    • Proficiency in HR3 and SAP Business One (B1) systems.
    • Advanced Excel skills and expertise in financial modelling.
    • Demonstrated expertise in cash flow management, including forecasting and daily cash flow preparation.
    • Extensive experience in food manufacturing operations and a thorough understanding of related complexities.
    • Knowledgeable in waste management practices within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong ERP knowledge, preferably with experience in SAP Business One implementation.
    • Ability to develop and activate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and conduct variance analyses.
    • Exceptional financial acumen coupled with effective financial management experience.
    • Skills in budgeting, particularly utilizing Zero Budgeting methodology, ideally within food manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in developing policies and procedures, conducting task analyses, and identifying value-added activities.
    • Capacity to select, train, and delegate tasks effectively.
    • Comprehensive understanding of relevant accounting practices, tax legislation, and governmental regulations.
    • Familiarity with procurement principles and risk management strategies.
    • Proven track record of building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including directors and owners.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for negotiation and influence.
    • Ability to provide strategic and operational financial guidance to management teams.
    • High integrity, discretion, and a collaborative spirit essential for team success.
