    Company Overview

    Mid sized Asset Manager based in Sydney CBD. New role available for a fully qualified Senior Accountant to join this well established business.

    Role Overview
    Due to internal promotion an opportunity has become available for an experienced Accountant to join the team and work closely with the Finance Manager and other key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

    • GL postings and reconciliations
    • Subsidiary ledger postings
    • Preparation of financial statements
    • Preparation of working papers for Audit
    • Preparing monthly financial management reports
    • Collaborate with internal departments to comprehend and resolve bank discrepancies, transactions, and disputes effectively
    • Working collaboratively with other team members

    Skills & Experience

    • Sound experience preparing complex financial statements
    • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principals and data analysis
    • Monthly, quarterly and year end experience
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Funds / Investments experience required
    • CA / CPA qualified
