- Collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists whilst working as part of a dynamic and consultative team on major mining projects both across Australia and internationally.
- You will work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution. On mining, heavy industry or industrial operations projects.
- Utilising your relevant experience, assist with the development of our upcoming engineers and graduates by advising and mentoring the next generation of engineering consultants.
- Be heavily involved in the management and leadership of a multi-disciplinary engineering team with various engineer projects and packages of work.
- Relevant tertiary degree in Civil / structural engineering
- Eligible or Chartered member of Engineers Australia
- Experience in structural engineering analysis and design and using structural analysis software (SpaceGass and Strand7) with a strong technical capability and report writing skills.

Job Description
The Role
As a result of a significant project pipeline, AECOM's Mining and Industrial team has an upcoming opportunity for a Lead Structural Engineer with strong leadership, project management and technical experience to join the talented team based in Perth.
Working as part of a dynamic, consulting environment, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of large multidisciplinary projects within the Mining , Refining, and Industrial sectors.
Our team of industry experts and network of technical specialists will support the development of your technical and project management capabilities, giving you the opportunity to work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution. Working across mining, minerals processing, chemicals and refineries will give you a broad exposure and help build your career.
