    Description

    What this opportunity involves:

    You will manage the provision of facilities management in a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within the designated Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) portfolio. Key to this role will be the development of sound working relationships with key client staff and the management of the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facilities.

    This position will assist the National Facilities Manager Director to deliver the full range of services to the Entities.

    A snapshot of the role:

  • Management of Facilities as designated by the National Facilities Manager
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards.
  • Build and maintain an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence within team.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client's expectations are met.
  • Ensure financial processes are followed at all times.
  • Responsibility and duty of care to work safely to protect their own health and safety and that of fellow workers and visitors.
  • Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations.
  • Preparedness to develop a strong understanding of the various property management database systems.
  • Complete, update and maintain applicable web-based management information systems, including uploading various property documentation .

  • Hands-on approach to problem solving with the ability to juggle competing deadlines and tasks within a dynamic workplace
  • Knowledge of local OH&S and safety requirements, critical facilities and vendor management for specialised services is required
  • Basic understanding of fundamental technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-Conditioning, Chiller Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Mechanical & Electrical Systems)
  • You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our client's requirements.
