    Description

    We are looking for an Internal Communications champion to join the City of Stonnington

    In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain an internal communications strategy across a range of channels to engage and inform City of Stonnington employees.
  • Help present the voice of our Chief Executive Officer and Executive in written and scripted communications.
  • Play a key role in designing and implementing programs, systems and initiatives that keep our organisation connected in a hybrid working environment.
  • Work with our digital team to build the internal communications channels and functions of the future for our people.
  • This is a permanent full-time position with an annual salary range of $, to $, + % superannuation + a monthly accrued day off arrangement.

    You are based within our bright, modern and sustainable Glenferrie Road office on the corner of High Street and Glenferrie Road in Malvern where boutique stores, cafes and health clubs are in abundance. From the office you can easily walk to Malvern Gardens, High Street Armadale or Glenferrie Road. Malvern and Armadale Train Station are a short walk away and tram stops are out the front of the building.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    To succeed in this position you will need:

  • A qualification in communications and experience working in a communications environment
  • Experience developing and delivering communication strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and confidence to work closely with Executives
  • Ability to provide training and support of the Intranet
  • Great writing skills and knowledge of design principles and how they relate to communications and engagement
