- Maintenance of electrical items including but not limited to:
- General items, electrical plant and appliances, including HV switchgear and controls
- Fault finding / trouble shooting electronic equipment, including programmable logic controllers and plant.
- HVAC
- Nurse call system and duress controllers
- Take part in afternoon and on-call rosters.
- Demonstrated several years of electrical experience with respective trade qualification, in a commercial environment.
- Must have successfully completed an electrical apprenticeship plus have five years post apprenticeship experience in commercial and industrial workplaces.
- Must have an 'A' class electrical licence.
- Experience in the fault finding and maintenance of engineering equipment and preventative maintenance routines.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills (able to communicate clearly at a range of levels).
- Ability to work effectively in a team and individually.
- Demonstrate high level of initiative and the ability to adjust to changing work commitments.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility, to adjust to changing work commitments.
- Experience in the maintenance of electrical services in a large building environment.
- HV operator's licence.
- Current driver's licence.
