    We are looking to expand our team and the practice.
    We are located on St Kilda Road in Melbourne.
    Currently, we work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with days in between spent in the office.

    About the Role
    We are currently looking for a seasoned family lawyer who is outgoing, confident and experienced to join our practice.

    This is a great opportunity if you are looking to further your career in a happy environment whilst providing expert legal advice and representation to our diverse client base.

    You will manage a broad spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property division, spousal support, and more.

    We invest a lot of effort in assisting clients through this difficult process and aim to provide the best resolution possible - either through an amicable resolution or litigation.

    Responsibilities:
    Manage and oversee a diverse caseload of family law matters, from inception to resolution.
    Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
    Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
    Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and court submissions.
    Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
    Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.
    Maintain strong relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy, and understanding.

    Qualifications:
    Juris Doctor (J.
    D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited law school.
    Active practicing certificate in Victoria
    Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing family law.
    Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
    Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail.
    Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team.
    Genuine interest in family law and building professional relationships with clients.
    Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
