    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Project Team in Perth. As part of the Clough corporate estimating group, you will be responsible for assisting on estimates required for tenders.

    In this role, you will assist the Lead Estimator (Senior Estimator) in preparing detailed estimates and presenting them to management for approval. You will ensure timely completion of the most cost-effective and comprehensive tenders.

    About You

    To succeed in this role, you should have a degree qualification or significant on-the-job experience with part professional qualifications. Chartered status in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management is also desirable.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare or assist in the preparation of detailed tender estimates, quantities, prices, and costing for projects;
    • Program and sequence works in a practical and efficient manner;
    • Interpret specifications and standards and assess their impact on project costs;
    • Develop accurate estimates through first principles pricing of direct and indirect job costs;
    • Review client designs for opportunities and omissions.
