    About the Role

    We are looking for experienced Speech Pathologist's to join the admitted team to lead and deliver coordinated, patient centred and evidenced base care for our admitted patients within a mulit-disciplinary team.

    The successful applicant must demonstrate ability to independently deliver high quality generalist acute clinical practice including competency in clinical practise area/s (as per SPA) such as paediatric feeding, videofluroscopy, fibreoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing, tracheostomy and/or laryngectomy.

    Availability to work weekends, in a set shift capacity and/or as part of a team roster is essential.

    • Mandatory : Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligible for full practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
    • Mandatory : Current Drivers Licence.
    • Mandatory : Demonstrated experience and competency to provide evidenced based advanced clinical practices in the assessment, diagnosis and management of complex communication, swallowing and oral motor disorders relevant to the clinical population of AWH.
    • Mandatory : Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively across a variety of teams in the advocacy of patient centred care and resolution of conflict.
    • Mandatory : Demonstrated commitment to, and leadership of quality and safety improvement activities
