- Western Health is delivering mental health service to the young people in the western suburbs of Melbourne
- Based at Sunshine Hospital and Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital
- Part time (0.8 FTE) - Maternity Leave cover until March 2025
- Consultation-liaison model
- Supervision and education to paediatric and mental health clinicians associated with Sunshine Hospital
- Continued growth of a paediatric consultation-liaison psychiatry outpatient service
- Support children and adolescents with comorbid mental and physical illness who typically do not meet threshold for a tertiary child and adolescent mental health service
- Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders
- Assess young people for mental health needs and provide clinical and therapeutic support
- Provide support to family and carers
- Co-ordinate and deliver new quality initiatives in collaboration with consumers and carers
- Be the driver of the development of a leading-edge service models
