    About The Company

    Working for a global real-estate investment fund who have established a unique footprint across Australia through a diverse portfolio of assets. Their ANZ interests are run out of their Sydney CBD HQ which houses teams that manage property investment across multiple classes including Industrial, commercial, and retail.

    About The Role

    Our client is looking for an experienced project manager to be instrumental in managing the entire life cycle of key growth projects as they continue to grow their Australian portfolio. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team to ensure that projects meet all key metrics.

    Key responsibilities include;
    • Work with different teams to spot project risks and plan ways to deal with them at every stage.
    • Lead the team to make sure designs are efficient, costs are managed well, and projects stay on schedule from the start to the end.
    • Develop design ideas and make sure they match the company's strategy and goals. Also, oversee design consultants and get approval from relevant authorities.
    • Handle the process of hiring consultants, contractors, and vendors, and keep track of their performance.
    • Oversee the tender process, construction, and contracts, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
    • Make sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
    • Keep an eye on project budgets and spending, making adjustments when needed.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management about project progress and any issues that arise.
    • Ensure projects meet industry standards and company expectations for quality.
    • Lead the project team, ensuring everyone works together effectively to achieve project goals.
    • Support company initiatives like sustainability and compliance.
    • Prioritize environmental, social, and governance considerations throughout the project.
    • Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

    About You

    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Project Management/Construction.
    • At least 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in Industrial or Logistics projects.
    • Familiar with the approval process and requirements of authorities, especially in Australia.
    • Strong business sense, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
    • Always looking for ways to improve designs and processes.
    • Positive attitude with good organizational and planning skills.
    • Capable of strategizing and solving project and team issues.
    • Experience leading full development project cycles.
    • Preference given to candidates with project management experience in development firms.
