    About The Parkerville Tavern & Heritage Venue

    Founded in 1902, our historic venue is a beloved family pub and restaurant nestled in the heart of the Perth Hills. Surrounded by scenic trails, our beautifully restored 'Parky' is where locals and visitors gather to enjoy great food, drinks, and company.

    We're seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a wealth of experience in managing large-capacity venues.

    About the Role

    As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll partner with the Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling, multifaceted venue. Your key responsibilities will include:

    1. Managing daily operations, including staff supervision and customer service
    2. Assisting with financial management, including budgeting and forecasting
    3. Developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
    4. Maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality and presentation
    5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

    What We Offer

    We offer a competitive salary package, including:

    • $80,000 - $82,000 per annum + Superannuation
    • KPI Bonus: $5,000

    Minimum Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you'll need:

    • 2+ years of management experience in a similar venue
    • Strong Food & Beverage knowledge
    • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
    • Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
    • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
    • Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
    • Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
    • Hold a current Unrestricted Managers license
