    Boss Energy owns the Honeymoon uranium restart project in South Australia, which has a near-term clear path to production. The Honeymoon project is located in South Australia, is fully licensed for exports of up to 3.3mlb and is run by a strong management team which has leveraged off industry experts.

    About the Role

    We're seeking a Commercial Manager to lead our team in driving improvements in profitability and return on capital. Based in our Adelaide CBD office, you'll closely collaborate with the Honeymoon mine team, building strong partnerships to achieve our collective goals. Your role will involve leading the budgeting process, delivering periodic reports to both the Board and Honeymoon team, and developing a comprehensive understanding of the key drivers of the Alta Mesa joint venture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Formulate optimal commercial models, tools, and analyses to enhance financial performance both at Honeymoon and within the broader Boss Energy Group.
    • Spearhead comprehensive budgeting, reporting, and oversight of project expenditures (for mine construction completion).
    • Cultivate and empower an efficient commercial team through coaching, implementing effective systems and processes, and optimizing team performance.
    • Drive ongoing enhancement of financial and commercial processes at Honeymoon.
    • Review and authorize all capital requests, ensuring thorough completion of business cases.
    • Uphold robust financial controls and ensure the maintenance of appropriate processes and procedures at Honeymoon.
    • Deliver punctual and accurate internal and external reports to facilitate improved financial performance at Honeymoon for key stakeholders.
    • Take the lead in preparing annual budgets for Honeymoon and periodic forecasts in collaboration with relevant departmental managers.

    About You

    You will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

    • Tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance, coupled with either CPA or CA certification.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Operational/Commercial roles, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in commercial roles.
    • Demonstrate a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Exhibit a natural curiosity and a passion for ongoing learning.
    • Possess robust commercial acumen with a keen ability to grasp key value drivers.
    • Display effectiveness in influencing stakeholders, especially those in different physical locations, to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of financial structures, systems, and operational necessities.
