    Reliable Conveyor Belt is an independent, Australian owned company with five branches in NSW which specialises in servicing conveyor systems. Established in 1973, Reliable Conveyor Belt has an enviable reputation for excellence and is regarded as an industry leader.

    Due to business growth, we are looking for Experienced and Entry Level Conveyor Technicians for roles for our Newcastle Branch for work in the workshop and on site.

    These are Permanent Full-Time Positions on a 4 day, 9.5-hour roster or 5 days 8-hour roster with competitive wages, overtime opportunities, paid travel, employee benefits, and excellent opportunities for career development.

    Experienced Conveyor Technicians are key and valued members of our Operations team. This is a hands-on role responsible for task execution and quality of work.

    As an entry level Conveyor Technician, you will be provided with practical, on-the-job training within our workshop and when on site gain industry experience from our leading Conveyor Technicians. You will work in a small team environment that responds quickly to our customer needs and while providing high service standards.

    A requirement of these roles is the ability to pass a Coal Board preemployment medical including a full functional assessment and drug & alcohol test.

    To be successful:

    • Must be located within 50km of Beresfield or willing to relocate at own cost to comply with fatigue management procedures.
    • Trainee - Mechanical or trade aptitude and previous Labouring or Trades experience well regarded.
    • Experienced - Cert 3 in Polymer Processing or working towards gaining the qualification.
    • Have a strong work ethic.
    • Strong focus on safety and site safety rules
    • A valid Construction White Card
    • Valid Driver's Licence - manual preferred.
    • HR licence - an advantage
