    About the role:

    Based at our Portsmith depot, we are seeking an HR Driver to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for operating a collection vehicle within the Cairns region including within metro areas. This may include loading/unloading tasks, servicing our customers including commercial and industrial locations. Additionally there will be physical tasks associated with the maintenance/repair of bins and organising the depot yard.

    About you:

    To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Valid HR licence, clean driving record
  • Forklift license
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experienced in multi-tasking – our fleet requires you to operate controls manually
  • Zero Harm Safety mindset
  • Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
  • Waste industry experience is not essential, however possessing a good attitude, being reliable and having a willingness to learn is. We are looking for a team player who can contribute to our stable depot team.
