    What will be doing?

    In your role as an IT Release Manager, you will be instrumental in systematically managing, planning, scheduling, and executing multiple scope of work which will enable organisations to consistently deliver services in a scalable and controllable manner. This role is part of the IT Service Operations and Infrastructure/Service Management Group and liaises with Business Customers, various IT departments and vendors. You will lead IT in creating a culture of Release management across the organisation.

    In this role you'll be involved in upholding and supporting the Release Management process. You'll also ensure the integrity and reliability of Releases into the production environment across all Domains.

    • Enhancing Release capability by formalising system changes and enhancements in a controlled manner;
    • Clearly defining roles and responsibilities for the Domain Release delivery team;
    • Establishing Domain forward Release schedules;
    • Providing guidelines for managing risks and resolving issues that impact release scope, schedule, and quality;
    • Work proactively and collaboratively with the Process Manager to assess and identify needed process improvement opportunities;
    • Review each Release scope of work against the risk controls to ensure appropriate rigour, discipline and consistency is applied as per the Release process;
    • Support and coach Release Steering Committee members, Release Coordinators and stakeholders with the Release Management process and related tools;

    What will I bring?

    • A strong track record managing and practising Release management within an enterprise environment, ideally working in a multi-vendor environment;
    • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification mandatory requirement; Strong understanding of ITIL v4 and interactions across the entire Service Management processes;
    • Experience working with Service Management Tools - ServiceNOW, Jira and similar platforms;
    • Managing risk frameworks and business impact analysis, plus reporting on process performance;
    • Demonstrated experience in supporting Agile business practises and building Release implementation strategies;
    • Leadership experience managing business and senior IT stakeholders as well as building strategic relationships;
