This role is responsible for the management, maintenance and optimisation of both SQL and Oracle databases, joining a small team and collaborating with cross functional teams, stakeholders and vendors to maintain the security, availability and performance of critical databases.
A bit about you;
You are someone with high attention to detail who is comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment. Ideally, you have had some hands on exposure to SQL or Oracle databases through your work experience to date.
However, if your background is broader than that, you're a proactive learner and you're excited to shift your career towards Database Administration, plus you can demonstrate sound knowledge of SQL and/or Oracle Database maintenance, Backup/DR, High Availability and more, we'd love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities; - Monitor, tune and maintain database performance
- Database Backup and Disaster Recovery
- Database Security and Compliance
- Database Troubleshooting
