- Advise clients on a wide range of technology-related legal matters, including data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property.
- Negotiate contract terms with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and provide strategic advice on a diverse range of risk and regulatory matters.
- Offering strategic guidance on emerging technology trends and their legal implications.
- 5+ years PQE working in Australia.
- Deep understanding of technology law and experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of SaaS contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian data privacy laws and regulations including the Privacy Act.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience working on and negotiating government contracts is highly desirable.
- Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
