    Principal Data Engineer / 6 Months Contract / Sydney / Hybrid Remote working / $1,000 a day

    A Sydney based boutique development agency is looking for a principal Data Engineer to join on a greenfield project for a Media Client.

    They are looking for an experienced Data engineer at the principal / consultant level who is comfortable running customer facing workshops and liaising with stakeholders.

    The first part of the project will be a 2 week discovery workshop which will then lead into a 6 months build. After the initial 6 months the project is likely to extend and there would be further opportunities in the business.

    The role will be hybrid remote working with 1-2 days a week in the office in Sydney.

    Skill Set Overview

    • Snowflake Data Warehousing
    • Fivetran for Data Ingestion
    • DBT for transformations
    • Power BI for Data Visualisation
    • Azure Cloud environment

    Role Overview

    • $1,000 a day (Inc super or + GST)
    • 6 months initial term with extensions likely
    • Hybrid remote work – 1-2 days a week in Sydney
