    Description

    Collar Group are currently hiring passionate Registered Nurses to join our aged care casual workforce in Cairns. Ad hoc & block contracts available.

    • Generous pay & penalty rates
    • Ad hoc shifts & block shifts available
    • Flexibility to work AM/PM/Nights & rotating rosters.

    What will I be doing?

    • Clinical care of residents in residential Aged Care facilities / retirement villages in Townsville
    • Documentation of vital signs, medication administration and resident assessments
    • Assisting with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition.
    • Family and resident education
    • Infection control and prevention
    • Palliative care, restorative care and pain management
    • Assisting in admission and easing the transition for residents and their families
    • Liaising with residents' family, doctors, and allied health professionals

    What do I need to have?

    • Bachelor of Nursing
    • Current AHPRA Registration in Australia as a RN
    • COVID Vaccination (including at least one booster)
    • Flu Vaccination
    • First aid & CPR
    • 6 months minimum full-time experience of working in Aged Care as an RN in Australia
    • Current Police Check (under 12 months old)
    • NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain
    • Clinical nurses, CNC's, CNS's care coordinators, care managers & clinical facility managers also encouraged to apply
