    Description

    A full-time permanent role in Shepparton, country VIC for a well established locally owned automotive dealership with many years in the industry, specialising in Car Dealership, Automotive repairs, breakdowns and Vehicle servicing. For an experienced Pre-Delivery Accessory Fitter, Automotive Mechanic or a Vehicle Service Person to work autonomously for the local valued clientele.

    • Qualified Automotive Technician With Minimum 5 Years Of Experience
    • $60,000 - $70,000 per annum
    • Shepparton, VIC


    A normal day includes

    • Review work orders and assess accessories for installation.
    • Prepare tools, materials, and vehicles for fitting.
    • Install and wire accessories, ensuring functionality.
    • Test and troubleshoot installed accessories.
    • Maintain records, update inventory, and communicate with customers.
    • Follow safety protocols and stay updated on industry trends.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs
    • Stay updated with industry standards
    • Communicate progress to the sales team
    • Maintain a clean and organised work area
    • Adapt to changing workload
    • Improve mechanical skills and knowledge
    • Provide input for process improvement
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

    You will need

    • Qualified automotive technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a fully qualified technician (excluding apprenticeship).
    • Experience fitting accessories onto high-end expensive vehicles
    • Meticulous and precise workmanship
    • Preferably customer service and/or administrative experience.
    • Strong computer literacy
    • Possession of a current, unrestricted Manual driver's license
    • Being able to work autonomously
