- Provide assistance to the Operations Manager and oversee operations on a day-to-day basis
- Lead the service team and engage in run scheduling and optimisation
- Become a proficient operator of all service vehicles and site-based processing equipment
- Provide vehicle operations training and undertake periodic assessment of driver performance
- Ensure all drivers and staff comply with JJs training requirements and accreditation

- Able to provide up to date QLD Roads Driving Record at interview stage

Everybody knows a JJ's Truck when they see one . . . our iconic green and gold fleet head out rain or shine for collections in your area.
But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300
We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

THE ROLE
JJ's Health & Hygiene is a division of JJ's Waste & Recycling specialising in the collection, treatment, and disposal of Clinical and Related waste. The division also provides a comprehensive washroom service.
In this role you will lead our service team, ensuring the ongoing success of our well-established and diverse waste collection & washroom service operations in the Cairns region.
This is a grassroots / hands-on supervisor role with huge opportunity for growth and development.
