    Clinical Nurse Consultant - Infection Management and Prevention Service

    This role provides advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the Infection Management and Prevention initiatives as part of the STARS Directorate Safety and Quality program.

    • Provide leadership and education in infection management and prevention practices.
    • Work in collaboration with the interprofessional Safety and Quality Unit team to support corporate and clinical governance in accordance with health service, facility, and service line objectives.
    • Support the implementation, monitoring, and review of quality activities and projects to ensure alignment with health service and facility priorities.

    About You:

    • Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience, and clinical skills in Infection Management and Prevention.
    • Responsible for the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.
    • Participate in innovation and change to develop responses to address emerging service needs in relation to Infection Management and Prevention.
