    About the Opportunity

    Reporting to the Payroll Lead, the Payroll Officer is responsible for supporting the weekly and fortnightly payroll activities across CleanCo, ensuring all activities and outcomes are executed in line with company policy, procedures, and legislative requirements.

    This is a full-time permanent opportunity that offers a mix of working in our Brisbane CBD office and at home.

    About you

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Experience in payroll processing, requiring high attention to detail.
    • Solution-focused approach with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
    • Must possess a strong range of communication skills to achieve outcomes.
    • Must be able to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience with ERP accounting systems, preferably SAP and SuccessFactors or the confidence to learn new business systems and processes.
    • Demonstrated experience with interpreting enterprise agreements, awards, policies and procedures.
    • You can explore new ways of working and are open to taking on new challenges in your role.
    • Confidently respond to queries regarding payroll matters in line with relevant procedures.
    • Collaborate with the People and Culture team to ensure successful administration of new starters, employee exits and any employment change that may arise.
    • Possesses knowledge about various payroll processes and procedures.
    • You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
