Industrial Architect - Geelong, VIC
Our Geelong team has an opportunity for an Industrial Architect to join us and play a key role in delivering high-quality architectural solutions across industrial and manufacturing projects. This role will suit someone who enjoys a technically focused and varied workload - from concept design and client engagement through to documentation and multidisciplinary coordination - and who takes pride in delivering practical, efficient design outcomes.
You'll be part of a collaborative team working closely with engineers and specialists to deliver integrated project solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop efficient and functional concept designs for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
- Engage with clients to understand operational requirements and translate them into practical architectural solutions.
- Coordinate with engineers, stakeholders, team members and other consultants to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Manage design documentation to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to professional standards.
- Contribute to reporting requirements and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
About You
You will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering practical and effective design solutions.
- Architectural qualification.
- Demonstrated interest in industrial and manufacturing facility design.
- Sound knowledge of current computer-based design processes, including Revit, AutoCAD and BIM.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing demands.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous skill development.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Australia as required.
