    Description

    We're looking for a dedicated Activities Program Carer to enrich the lives of our clients through diverse and engaging social support programs, ensuring a focus on individual goals and needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver and assist in planning a range of social support activities, tailored to individual and group needs.
    • Coordinate meal preparation, ensuring dietary requirements and safety standards are met.
    • Support clients' participation in activities, including personal care as needed.
    • Maintain a safe, clean environment for clients and undertake general administrative tasks.
    • Provide transportation for clients to and from the venue and outings.

    About You:

    • Hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, Ageing Support, or equivalent qualifications in Community Services.
    • Experience in working with aged and people with disabilities in a community setting.
    • Knowledgeable about the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and client-centered programming.
    • Skilled in food safety, OH&S, and understanding of the ageing process and disability support.
    • Strong communication skills, able to work cooperatively in a team, and sensitive to diverse and CALD backgrounds.
    • Must have a current Food Handling Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Victorian Driver's Licence, Police Check, and Working with Children's Check.
    • Ability to drive a 12-seater bus is required.
    • Bilingual abilities in a community language are desirable.
