    Description

    **Senior HR Advisor**

    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our government client site in Brisbane's North. This is a 6 month fixed term role, offering a work-from-home arrangement and a competitive salary of $72,175 - $76,932 per annum (plus 12.75% super) dependent on experience.

    About the Role:

    • Provide strategic HR advice and support, including workforce planning, recruitment and case management activities, to deliver practical business outcomes and ensure quality people management practices.
    • Maintain knowledge and awareness of current HR practices and systems, industrial instruments and emerging trends to ensure compliance and contribution to business improvement.
    • Analyse payroll and other employee data to address individual and broader workforce issues, define risks and present evidence-based solutions to support decision making processes.
    • Contribute to HR capability across the workforce through the design, development and delivery (online and face to face) of procedures, guidelines and resources.
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to support HR initiatives and meet desired outcomes.
    • Research, review and prepare reports, briefs, submissions and other correspondence in accordance with departmental requirements.
    • Represent the department and participate in HR projects and working groups to ensure outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes and meet business and client's needs.

    About the Individual:

    • Experience in a similar role within an Australian government department or statutory body.
    • Experience in a contemporary HR environment.
