    Description

    Launceston General Hospital - Medical Education and Training Coordinator

    Location: LGH Charles Street, Launceston

    Are you passionate about medical education and training? Join our team at Launceston General Hospital as the Medical Education and Training Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the postgraduate medical education and training program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the medical education and training program at LGH
    • Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff
    • Facilitate training sessions and ensure compliance with Accreditation Standards
    • Liaise with relevant bodies to create a conducive environment for junior doctors

    Details of Appointment: Fixed-term part-time position working 36 hours per fortnight. Commencing immediately until April 1, 2027.

    Requirements:

    • Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia

    Desirable criteria:

    • Qualification in education or medical education
