      About the Role As part of a multidisciplinary paediatric team working within a strengths based approach, this role involves working closely with families to educate and empower them to support their child. The position emphasises fostering a collaborative and supportive environment whilst working alongside parents, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities
      • Assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of therapy supports for young people and children 0-18 years. Supports are provided in clinic, school, day care, home and/or the wider community.
      • Administrative duties including progress notes, report writing, developing therapy resources and group programs.
      • Program development and innovation, contributing to the ongoing enhancement and development of our services.
      • Participation in clinical supervision and peer sessions.
      • Providing coaching for caregivers, working towards meaningful inclusion and participation.
      • Working collaboratively within the team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and allied health assistants.

      Requirements
      • Completed tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
      • Speech Pathology Australia Membership (CPSP)
      • Current Working with Children's Check
