Job Title: Head of IT

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of IT to join our team, commencing January 2025.

This is a full-time ongoing position, with working hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic planning, management, and execution of the College's Information Technology services across multiple campuses.
• Ensure efficient and secure I.T operations, manage staff and resources, and align technology initiatives with the College's educational and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proven experience in managing I.T operations across multiple sites, ideally within the education sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration, service delivery, and effective communication across all levels.
• Expertise in network management, systems integration, cybersecurity, and I.T infrastructure.
• Familiarity with educational technologies and platforms such as Synergetic, Schoolbox or similar systems.
• Demonstrated ability to document processes, procedures, and incident reports clearly and thoroughly, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft (Azure AD/integrations), Google (Workspaces administration/integrations), Cloudfare, and JAMF services.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing I.T teams, with a proven track record in change management and strong people management capabilities.

Estimated Salary

$95,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
