- Understanding of the processes in Fire Assaying of samples for analysis for Gold.
- Digestion and instrumental analysis of samples
- "House keeping" within the fire assay area.
- Understanding the hazardous nature of lead (FLUX) and working in a safe manner to fulfil your duty of care to yourself and others.
- Experience in fire assay techniques
- Familiar and comfortable handling acids
- Exposure to MPAES or AAS instrumentation
- Previous laboratory experience in a similar environment preferred, but not essential
- Current drivers licence
