Job Description

Our Laboratory located in the town of Orange is currently looking for a reliable and energetic Fire Assayer to join the team.

Responsibilities will include however not limited to:

• Understanding of the processes in Fire Assaying of samples for analysis for Gold.
• Digestion and instrumental analysis of samples
• "House keeping" within the fire assay area.
• Understanding the hazardous nature of lead (FLUX) and working in a safe manner to fulfil your duty of care to yourself and others.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in fire assay techniques
• Familiar and comfortable handling acids
• Exposure to MPAES or AAS instrumentation
• Previous laboratory experience in a similar environment preferred, but not essential
• Current drivers licence
