    Description
    • Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Community & Allied Health - Out of Hospital team
    • Various Locations across Barossa Hills Fleurieu LHN: Adelaide Hills, Southern Fleurieu, Barossa / Gawler and Kangaroo Island
    • Salary: AHA2 $ $31.81 p/h plus 25% casual loading; AHA3 $ $36.28 p/h plus 25% casual loading
    • Casual (up to 1/12/2024)

    Please note that this position is multi-classified as either a AHA-2 or AHA-3.

    Overview

    Provide assistance and support in the delivery of allied health services to patients/clients of the community and acute settings, under the supervision of an allied health professional. Provide hands on therapy for clients, help facilitate group activities and participate in Home visiting and client assessment/reviews. Work with clients under going rehabilitation/ restorative care, Home /Group Exercise programs and support equipment delivery and set up for clients.

    Qualifications:

    AHA2: Hold or be working towards Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance.

    AHA3: Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent.

    SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
