    Company Overview:

    Our client is a leader in quality, design and engineering of Vacuum tankers committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of their business. Located in Mansfield, the team works closely with customers, to ensure they have the right equipment, training and ongoing support. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an accounting all-rounder to join the team and play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations.

    Position Overview:

    As an Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing all financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. You will utilise existing financial frameworks to provide real-time reporting on the company's position and performance. In addition to managing day-to-day financial tasks, you will actively contribute to improvement projects aimed at optimising income and expenditure tracking.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process payroll bi-weekly with precision and accuracy.
    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
    • Prepare work in progress reports to monitor project profitability.
    • Generate stock offshore reports to ensure optimal inventory management.
    • Conduct regular stocktakes and prepare associated reports.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive financial reports for management.
    • Perform general administration and data entry tasks as needed.

    Key Performance Objectives:

    • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Identify and address irregularities in payable/receivables before processing.
    • Provide regular and informative financial reports to management.
    • Optimise cash flow by closely monitoring income and expenditure.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Proven experience in payroll processing and financial reporting.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
