About the Role:
To succeed as a CAO Elite Threat Hunter Graduate you must be an adaptable team-player who loves learning. You must have a basic understanding of threat hunting operations and possess the technical problem-solving skills that enable our customers to stop breaches.

The CAO Elite Threat Hunter Graduate will assist in developing cyber threat analysis through regular customer briefings, track and fulfill customer requests using CrowdStrike CAO resources, and relay customer feedback to internal CrowdStrike teams. You will develop the skills to help customers identify and operationalize timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence and threat hunt findings. Our CAO Elite team offers opportunities to expand your skill set through customer engagement powered by deep adversary intelligence and threat hunting.

To succeed as a CAO Elite Threat Hunter graduate you must be an adaptable team-player who loves learning. You must be familiar with threat hunting operations and possess the technical problem-solving skills that enable our customers to stop breaches. Excellent customer service skills are critical to this role's success.

Highlights:

July 2024 – January 2025 intensive training program
Full- time fixed term contract
Fully remote training
Possible conversion to Perm full-time at the end of program (depending on performance)

What You'll Do:

Develop awareness and understanding of evolving threats, adversaries and intrusion trends
Develop the skill to triage and respond to customer requests relating to threat intelligence, threat hunting, and dark web monitoring
Assist in generating high-quality customer deliverables that meet the expectations of the service CAO Elite provides its customers.

This includes:

Assist in hunting for threats, anomalies and cyber-related disruptions on customer endpoints
Learn how to perform threat analysis, deep-dives and incident assessments
Conduct ongoing customer environment assessments
Assist in research for industry attack trends and defenses

What You'll Need:

Recent graduate at a Bachelors or Masters level in the field of Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to your peers both verbally and in writing
You are curious and keep up-to-date across the cybersecurity landscape
Basic knowledge of operating systems fundamentals (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
Knowledge of Data Science Concepts and tools is a plus
Interest in Cybersecurity and\or AI

Bonus Points:

Experience with big-data processing tools such as Splunk, Humio, Logstash, Kibana, etc.
Basic understanding of MITRE ATT&CK techniques / sub-techniques
General knowledge of the cybersecurity including threat intelligence, defensive and offensive security operations

Prior cyber experience in any of the following:

Threat response
Intrusion analysis
Endpoint incident response (MAC, Linux, and/or Windows)
Malware analysis
Penetration testing
Threat hunting
Information security consulting
Intelligence
