We are on the lookout for experienced consultants to join our team, working on forward-thinking SATCOMprojects . These are a mixture between permanent and full time roles and have the potential for hybrid arrangements.

Are you ready to take on a role that challenges and utilizes your expertise in satellite communications within the defence sector?. Your role will be crucial in shaping the future of communications in defence environments.

To succeed in this endeavour, you will:

• Assess and respond to evolving operational needs for ongoing system support in defence SATCOM.
• Enhance existing SATCOM architectures to improve efficiency and adapt to changing demands.
• Implement updates and system upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Perform comprehensive satellite communication systems engineering duties.
• Manage full lifecycle and sustainment activities for SATCOM systems.
• Work closely with defence clients to develop and refine system requirements.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to maximize system reliability.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory and defence-specific requirements.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:

• You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher; advanced degrees are welcomed.
• Demonstrated experience in systems or technical engineering specific to Defence SATCOM.
• Experience in defence capability development and sustainment is highly desirable.
• Skilled in systems engineering, systems security, safety management, or software engineering within satellite communication projects.
• Previous consultancy experience in defence projects will be considered an advantage.
