Nita is a prominent family lawpractitioner. She has practiced exclusively in the area of family law services in Brisbane for 30 years. Nita is an accredited family law specialist and alternate dispute resolution practitioner.Nita served on the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Queensland Law Society from 2008 to 2014.
She is a Past President of the Family Law Practitioners' Association of Queensland having served as President during the years 1998 and 1999 and on the Executive Committee for many years.
She is also a past member of the Family Law Sub-Committee of the Law Society of Queensland having served on that committee for 10 years.
Nita has been a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia since 1985.
Nita served as Chairman of Directors of the Make a Wish Foundation of Australia Ltd for the years 2000 and 2001.
