    Description

    Senior Test Analyst

    This role will drive the testing strategy and delivery for their team, ensuring test approach, planning, and coverage achieves quality outcomes that deliver business change and value.

    You will be responsible for continuous improvement of testing processes and engagement practices, collaborating with both your team and stakeholders, and documenting these practices accordingly.

    You'll review and contribute to technical designs, ensuring that solutions meet functional specifications and align with business requirements across application, data, and infrastructure components.

    With a mix of manual and automated functional testing experience, you will create automated scripts for test data generation, expand the test automation framework coverage to include new features, automated testing of the continuous integration pipeline, and comprehensive regression testing.

    You will use test case management tools to record test cases and outcomes, improve re-use and expand and improve the test automation framework and test assets.

    This is a permanent role open for Sydney or Melbourne location.

    About You:

    • Experience in planning, coordinating and reporting on test efforts for projects
    • Experience in context-based and risk-based testing of complex business applications
    • Expertise in the use of a BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) framework based on Cucumber
    • Experience in using automation tools such as Selenium and Capybara for UI interfaces, Mongo for data handling, contract testing, etc.
    • Programming knowledge in Ruby and Java
    • Experience in the use of databases RDBMS as well as NoSQL databases such as Mongo
    • Experience in the use of Postman for API testing
    • Ability to coach and mentor team members and foster an engaged team environment
