    Who we're looking for:

    We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Senior Construction Project Planner / Project Programmer to work on major health projects in QLD. The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement project controls providing our project and New Business teams with timely advice and direction to deliver projects in a successful timeframe and budget. They will be integral to the team structure in both providing senior management reporting and advising the client on current outcomes and projections going forward.

    This is a site-based role reporting directly to the Planning Manager and the successful candidate will:

    • Drive a planning culture based on best practice and with a proactive focus on Risk Management and Safety
    • Implementation and status reporting of Programmes on live projects
    • Communicate Programme performance to Senior Management
    • Capture and share Planning knowledge – As-built production and delays
    • Participate in planning innovation and emerging technologies relating to BIM & 4D
    • Develop tender programmes for New Business

    To be considered for this role, it is expected that you would hold relevant tertiary qualifications (Building/Engineering/Construction/Quantity Surveying) and have worked as a Project Planner/Programmer in the industry as understanding construction and engineering techniques and sequences are vital. Competence in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject, knowledge of costs of labour & resources and the product market together with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with project teams and senior management, will help you succeed in this role.
